Wam BLOBOY - Pneumatic Conveying System for Dry Premixed Building Materials
 
Description

BLOBOY is an independent pneumatic conveying system, suitable for conveying premixed building materials, stored inside gravity-fed silos to the mixer (or plaster sprayer) situated nearby in the application area. Once started up, the system can work independently, always ensuring supply of material to the mixer (plaster sprayer), limiting the labour necessary at the jobsite to the minimum thanks to the electric panel especially designed to power and interact with a level indicator fitted on the hood of the mixer (or plaster sprayer) hopper.

The system can work in complete autonomy and safety since it is provided with a pre-calibrated relief valve; this ensures the maximum pressure limit the system can reach, even in case of blocking of the conveyor system.
 
Function

The dry premixed material extracted from the silo fills the transporter unit. After the pressure relief valve has closed, the material is transferred by the air flow generated by the compressor into the mixing machine where water is added to produce wet mortar ready for use. The settable pressure switch controls the pressure inside the conveying line and cuts the conveying cycle in case of plugging. The safety valve always guarantees the safety of the operator.

Description

EXTRABEND is a short radius Pipe Elbow that is inserted as a link in pneumatic conveying ducts. 

The Pipe Elbow is a one-piece SINT engineering polymer cast. Its special geometry enables the diversion of the conveyed material at minimum wear due to a dead zone at the point of diversion.

Function

The patented EXTRABEND Pipe Elbow offers a substantially innovative geometry suitable to reduce wear during operation in all types of dilute phase pneumatic conveying systems.
The body cavity next to the point of diversion generates an internal material turbulence which protects the Elbow from wear caused by the material travelling through the duct.

Torex Wam GT - Pipe End Couplings
 
Description

The GT Plain Pipe End Couplings consist of two cast iron semi-casings with heavy-duty jaws set into the casing halves to secure the pipes together in a safe, quick and rigid way.

The two semi-casings are joined together by strong bolts and nuts positioned on the two ends.

The sealing is assured by gaskets made from EPDM or food-grade SILICONE.
 
Function

The GT Couplings have been developed to join together two plain pipe ends on the same horizontal axis in a safe, quick and rigid way. The jaws set into the housing assure a solid grip and prevent the pipes from pulling out.
GT Couplings are suitable for both mild steel and stainless steel pipes.

Torex Wam RVS - Blow-Through Rotary Valves
 
Description

RVS Blow-Through Rotary Valves consist of a tubular cast iron or stainless steel casing, a horizontally mounted rotor with a certain number of oblique V-shaped cross section compartments, a drive unit and a casing cover at each end.

Function

Two compartments at a time of the continuously turning rotor are filled up with material through the inlet at the top of the Rotary Valve. After less than half a turn the material falls through the bottom opening into an air stream passing through a pneumatic conveying pipeline connected with the bottom part of the Rotary Valve.

Description

VAD Diverter Valves consist of an aluminium die-cast casing and a swivel flap that closes one duct or the other. The range suits common pipe standards used for pneumatic conveying. Internal sealing of the body is achieved through low friction gaskets.

Surface treatment is available to make the valves suitable for operation with different materials.

Function

VAD-type Diverter Valves are suitable for use in pneumatic conveying lines for handling any type of product in powder or granular form.

Description

The VAR Diverter Valve consists of a cast aluminium casing and cover, an inlet and two outlets. The rotating internal drum optionally closes one of two outlets which are connected with pneumatic conveying ducts.

The rotation of the internal drum is activated by means of a pneumatic actuator.

Perfect sealing is guaranteed by internal pneumatically inflatable seals.

Function

VAR Diverter Valves are suitable for conveying any type of powdery or granular material.
By means of the pneumatic actuator, which activates the rotating inner drum, the commutation of the tubular exit and, consequently, deviation of the material flow from one duct to another is obtained.

Torex Wam VM - Pinch Valves
 
Description

The body of the VM Pinch Valve is manufactured in aluminium alloy. The sleeves are made from fabric-reinforced material. 

The sleeve support bushes are either made from aluminium alloy, hardened carbon steel, or 304/316 stainless steel.

Function

VM-type Pinch Valves are used for interception of the material flow in pneumatic conveying systems, or other pipelines. In addition, they can be installed as a locking device for silo filling pipes.
In the open position the internal cross section of the Valve is identical with the connecting pipe diameter. By introducing compressed air or, especially with small valves, water under pressure through the threaded bore into the interior of the Valve, the internal flexible sleeve is reshaped in such a way that the passage is hermetically sealed. VM Pinch Valves equally handle pneumatically conveyed powders, granules, fibres, dense mixtures and liquids.

RECOFIL is an economic, pneumatic dust recovery device which has been specially developed for installation beneath filter hoppers

Function

RECOFIL automatically removes the dust collected inside the filter hopper conveying it to a storage device. There is no filter stoppage and there is no need for any manual operation.
This is possible thanks to an innovative patented system that utilises the air pressure from the filter to convey the dust in dilute phase without any further equipment required.
